I bet that cat in your avatar is a female cat ?
Surprisingly . . . she looks like one I've had.
I've have owned many cats . . . or rather . . . many cats have owned me in my life.
But with one in particular . . . we could communicate perfectly and used to discuss things . . . and understand each other.
Nothing about computers, technology or humans' **** of that kind . . .
More like about the meaning of life.
And we always agreed that the less we do . . . other than eating and crapping . . . is the best life can offer.
We had him admitted to a veterinary hospital because he did not look good that day -he was 14- the same day the vet called me that it did not look good and he'd probably die soon.
On the way to the hospital I just about broke all the rules!
Went through red lights, ignored precedence, drove on sidewalks, passed cars on their left . . . almost ran over a few pedestrians . . . but when we reached he was already dead.
But still warm.
I've never held my wife responsible for not having him die in our arms . . . never once!
It just happened that after the veterinary's call I could not reach my wife as she had forgotten to take her phone with her, while walking our other pet.
So we lost precious minutes until I saw her coming back . . . drove like a mad man to her, hauled her into the car and went on a mad man ride to the hospital.
**** happens.
I never drive these days . . . but, back then . . . I won many a night race !
Even having the car ride on TWO wheels !
